We are proud to be a part of the best parcel shop network!
What is DPD Pickup?
With DPD Pickup, customers can choose, at the point of sale, to have their order delivered to our store. Or, if they are not going to be at home for a delivery, an ‘in-flight’ option is now available through the text and email notifications, by which the delivery can be diverted to our store. Customers can also manage any returns via our store. DPD continues to innovate, and with many online shoppers using click-and-collect as a delivery option, DPD Pickup gives retailers another great option for their customers.
What do I need to bring with me when I collect my parcel?
In order for us to release the parcel, you must provide the DPD pickup pass or a utility bill and your driving licence or passport as photo ID. We will not accept any other form of photo ID. If you’re collecting a parcel on-behalf of a family member, you must share the same surname and provide us with your driving licence or passport. Under no circumstance will a parcel be released unless you have met DPD’s requirements.
What do I need to bring with me when I send my parcel?
When sending a parcel, all you need is the return label. Please ensure that you have safely attached the label to your parcel prior. Due to how busy we can get, we do not offer printing services nor do keep stock of packaging or parcel tape. If you require these items, we recommend visiting the Post Office on the Lanes Shopping Centre.
Frequently asked questions
How long can you hold my parcel for?
We are only permitted to hold your parcel up to a maximum of 7 days. If uncollected, DPD will collect your parcel at some point on the 7th day. The parcel will then be returned to sender. It is extremely unlikely that DPD will attempt any further delivery attempts.
When can I collect my parcel?
Can someone else collect if they show you my ID and pickup pass?
Unfortunately not. We are required to see you in person when checking your photo ID.
I don't have my driving licence or passport with me, can I pop in and collect anyway?
Unfortunately no. We can not accept bank cards, work ID etc. These aren’t forms of ID which DPD allow us to accept. Please refer to the DPD website or your email from DPD containing your pickup pass, the procedure and the requirements for picking up from a DPD pickup shop.
What time do the drivers come to your store and what are the cut off times?
We typically have 2x deliveries and 1x collection on weekdays and 1x delivery on weekends. DPD couriers can arrive anytime between 09:00 and 12:00. If you bring a parcel into store and the collection has already been made, your parcel will be collected the following weekday.
