As an essential retailer, our store will remain open with continued safety measures in place.

Our store will remain open during the lockdown. This is due to us falling within the criteria of  “Key Workers“. The business relationship between Chandler Computers and Hermes and the services which we offer defines us as “Essential“.

We are operating a collect/dropoff service. All inquiries will be handled via telephone or email, in order to stay within the guidelines set by our Government. We will continue to operate our normal services such as; Hermes Parcel Shop, Laptop and PC repairs, Custom Built PCs, etc. albeit in a safe way!

Please note, we have cancelled all our attendance at external events and will not be meeting with clients on a face to face basis.

For 6 years, both Chandler Computers Limited and Chandler Computers Business Services Limited have been dedicated to the provision of IT support to its clients, and the team here is doing whatever it takes to ensure that you get the service and advice you have come to expect from us, even during these challenging times.

What we are doing for our customers and how our services have changed

  • We are cleaning our shop at least once every 2 hours. Disinfecting all surfaces including but not limited to; door handles, customers equipment, video doorbell, Hermes in-store machine, countertops, tills etc.
  • Customers are required to wear a mask. Customers without a mask/proper face covering will be denied entry.
  • Likewise, our staff are wearing both face masks and gloves when handling cleaned/disinfected equipment ready for collection.
  • If you’re exempt from wearing a mask, we kindly ask that you clearly display your exemption card.
  • Hand sanitiser is provided.
  • We are selling high-grade masks at cost price. £4.99 for a pack of 20.

  • 5 meter social distancing between ourselves and our customers.
  • We have a customer-facing remote till which is 5 meters from our main till. However, we are asking all customers to pay over the phone before collecting. This is to minimise the amount of time customers are in-store.
  • Only 1 customer allowed onto the premises at a time. If we are currently serving, customers will be required to wait outside until the customer leaves the store or return when there are no customers in-store.
  • All collections will be prepared in the drop off / collection zone ahead of your appointment time. All equipment is cleaned and disinfected before collection.
  • No general inquiries. Please see below on how we are handling all inquiries.
  • Strictly by appointment only (except for parcel drop off/collection).
  • We are registered with the NHS COVID app and are encouraging all visitors to “check-in”.
  • Checking the temperature of all of our staff before they start their shift.
